About the Author
James Seguin, Ph.D. is Professor of Communications at Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Seguin earned his Ph.D. in Communications from The Ohio State University, his M.A. in College Administration from Michigan State University, and his B.A. in English cum laude from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY.

Dr. Seguin is also President of Creative Video, Inc. and has received more than 20 awards, including an Emmy, for his television and video productions. Dr. Seguin has written two books: Media Career Guide: Preparing for Jobs in the 21st Century (1998) and Business Communications, the Real World, and Your Career (1999). In 1999, he was awarded a Pennsylvania Association of Broadcaster's Fellowship. Dr. Seguin's international work includes writing and producing a variety of educational videos for Russian audiences. He also participated in an international project conducting seminars for Russian television professionals on media writing and production.
