From AudioFile
Harley commiserates with those leaving the cozy nest of elementary school for the unknown terrors of junior high. His title song "Back of the Bus" opens and closes this tape which consists of two lengthy stories. In "Bottle Caps" Harley recalls the consequences of bringing his bottle cap collection to school. This includes making some surprising new friends, including the vice principal who turns out to be a closet collector. The storyteller/singer's ability to create tension, suspense and the very atmosphere of school is only part of his success. Middle-graders are a tough audience to reach, but Harley has done it again.
