With these words from the preface of her newest book "Echoes of the Soul," Hannah Forsyth Dixon sets the background for the poems and stories contained therin. Her honest and direct style, so familiar to her readers, is again evident and powerful in this collection of inspiring pieces that reflect everyday life situations.
The closing stanza of her poem "Come Into My World" defines Dr. Dixon's purpose and invites readers to journey with her through some of those memories in life that are both painful and wonderful, uneventful yet unforgettable:
"Come into my world,
join with me to make this world a better place,
and leave a lasting legacy that would inspire-
The Human race."
"Echoes of the Soul" is a book that reaches out with compassion and love to a world that can never have enough of either. This book is also a journey by which readers are invited to explore the echoes of their own souls.
